How does Neurofeedback work?

Sensors are attached to the scalp of the child to capture the electromagnetic waves produced by his or her brain.  These sensors carry no electricity.  They do not affect the brain of the child.They simply and safely detect the electromagnetic waves generated by the brain, and feed this information to a computer.  The computer, in turn, rewards the child, through means of an animation or a game,  when his or her brain produces the right type of waves.  This reward system effectively encourages the brain to improve its electrical performance.  Such improvement has an enormous positive impact on the child’s behavior, affect and cognitions.
